Alan Zibel of the National Associated Press recently reported how the $8,000 tax credit has driven the surge in home sales across the nation. In this article Stephanie Somers was quoted saying:

We have certainly seen this to be true in the Philadelphia Real Estate Market with an incredibly busy fall due to the $8,000 tax credit combined with record-low mortgage rates.
