A Lot in Need of Love! 1214 N 4th Street
Valentine's Day is on the way and everybody just wants to be loved - especially this lonesome lot at 1214 N 4th Street. It just needs a little love and care. This promising opportunity for an investor or developer is just waiting to be subdivided into two lots.
Currently 18X100, street-to-street from 4th St to Leithgow, with a super width and great location in rapidly developing Kensington South, just a stone's throw from Northern Liberties. Great comps for new construction in the area. Or a super opportunity to hold a vacant lot for the future.
At a price you can get cozy with...$99,900. Contact the Somers Team for more information.

DesignPhiladelphia and Urban Roots Present the Urban Topiary
If you haven't seen the Urban Topiary yet, here is your chance to see the unique “living” sculpture designed to engage
the community through arts and design. In conjunction with DesignPhiladelphia, JDT International will
dedicate the Urban Topiary on Saturday, October 22.
From the press release:
Designed and constructed by PrePost, the Urban Topiary compliments the newly completed nine-unit housing development, The Flats at Girard Pointe (1221-1233 N. 3rd Street), developed by Jeffrey Tubbs of JDT International Inc and Joseph Matta of CRL2 Associates, LLC. The new housing development is surrounded by over 100 of the Urban Topiary’s digitally fabricated galvanized steel tubes that unite the public sidewalk and the adjacent private yards of the housing development. The tubes make for spiraling armature for flowering vines and ivy to grow, creating an undulating topiary in the heart of Olde Kensington.

You Can Huff and Puff Over Our Brick Picks!
We all know the story of The Three Little Pigs and that it did not bode so well for the pigs who built their houses out of straw and sticks. But the big bad wolf? He could not blow down the third pig's brick house. Why? Because brick is strong, smart, and classic.
There are homes out there that are just not built to last, but solid brick homes can stand strong for a long time if maintained well. We have a few brick listings that particularly stand out, and even something for those with a modern brick taste, so read on for our Brick Picks!
1140-44 N. Orianna Street and 1146 N Orianna Street is a series of New Construction brick homes in Northern Liberties. These 4 Story 3 Bedroom Homes are simply stunning with enclosed private rear yards and square footage ranging up to 3,000 sf. The neutral brick on these homes is sleek and subtle, incredibly clean-looking.
2415 S. Reese Street (at left) is a completely updated brick 2 Bedroom Home in South Philadelphia. It has a private rear yard and a nicely maintained and handsome brick front.

1903 N 2nd Street (at right) is a 3 Story 4 Bedroom Rehabbed Home in Old Kensington with a rear yard. In addition to a brick exterior, it also features some interior brick.
