Spring Forward at the Piazza

There have been a few exciting developments in the Piazza at Schmidts this month. It's like the salsa and tutu headquarters of the world.

The Farmer's Market has been adding new vendors each week, as more and more residents are coming out for their produce and local goods.  Check out our video if you haven't seen it yet. This Saturday will mark the debut of  Barbie Lu's Sassy Salsa, Coup de Taco, and University Cupcakes. We've heard quite a bit about the taco truck that normally parks in University City on weekdays.  Tikka masala tacos and thai coconut chicken rice bowls? We'll take it and call it brunch, with a coffee from vendor Joe Coffee, naturally. Sitting in the sunshine with spicy chow is the making of a flawless Saturday. There will be 20 vendors total.

While you're there, you might notice Fiona's Fairys, a new children's shop that has opened, specializing in tutus, skirts, and accessories for girls.  Every six-year-old ballerina in Northern Liberties just wept with joy. Fiona's tutus were previously sold at Amberella Gallery.
