Interstellar Medium Limited Edition DVD Release Party

Interstellar Medium, an installation from new media artist Sean Stoops, opened last month at Rebekah Templeton Contemporary Art on Girard Avenue in Northern Liberties.

On Thursday, February 11, from 6-9 pm, the gallery will present a DVD release party for Stoops' exploration of "Qfwfq", the narrator of Italo Calvino's books and the theory of cosmic reincarnation. Refreshments will be provided, including spiked punch.

The DVD will include a video projection from Stoops' installation, with handmade packaging by the artist, and will be available for $50. All purchases of the DVD at the party also come with a free limited edition print by the artist (valued at $150.) The exhibition will be on display until February 20.
